Learning Management System
A learning platform for organisations delivering structured educational programs. It brings classrooms, programs, resources, assessments, communication and student progress into one connected environment.
Context
Education and tutoring organisations often manage programs, resources, assessments, communication and student records through disconnected tools. Administrative work is repeated, while instructors, students and families struggle to see the same picture.
The problem
The platform needed to connect educational work without exposing every user to the complexity of the whole organisation. A classroom is not an isolated container: it belongs to programs, staff assignments, enrolments, resources and records of progress.
Who the product serves
The product model accounts for administrators, instructors, teaching assistants, students and parents. Each role has a different responsibility and therefore needs a different view of the same underlying learning environment.
Constraints
Roles, permissions and visibility are central constraints. Learning records must remain useful across programs while private and shared information must stay distinct. The product also has to support structured education rather than collapse the experience into a generic course catalogue.
Product approach
I modelled the relationships between classrooms, programs, instructors, teaching assistants, students and parents before treating the work as a feature list. This created a basis for coherent permissions and workflows across the platform.
The central design challenge was not adding more educational features. It was helping every role understand what to do next without carrying the complexity of the whole platform.

Organise around relationships
Classrooms, people and learning programs are connected parts of one domain. Modelling those relationships makes navigation and access rules easier to explain.
Give each role a useful horizon
People should see the work, communication and progress relevant to their responsibilities, rather than a universal dashboard crowded with options.
Keep progress connected to learning
Resources, assessments and records of progress belong in the same environment so that activity has educational context.

Outcome and current status
The work established a connected product model and developed platform for structured educational delivery. No public launch, adoption or production-status claim is made here because those details are not documented in this repository.
Lesson
Complex platforms become usable when the domain model reflects how people actually relate to one another. Clear permissions and next actions follow from that foundation; they cannot be repaired later with a busier dashboard.
Technology used
The technology stack is intentionally omitted until the specific implementation represented here can be confirmed. Product decisions, not a combined list of tools from separate implementations, are the evidence in this case study.
