I came to product work through stories, communities and the systems behind them.
I am a product strategist and systems thinker, with a practice grounded in technology leadership and building software.
From communication to product systems.
My early work in journalism, publishing and community-centred communication taught me to listen closely, find the structure inside complicated information and consider who gets represented.
That work expanded into digital products and technology leadership. I learned that many apparent software problems begin elsewhere: people use different language, responsibility is unclear, knowledge lives with one person or the process no longer matches the organisation.
Today I work across product strategy, user experience and engineering. My experience spans mental health, education, logistics, publishing, nonprofit operations and community platforms. Software remains an important part of the practice, but it follows the product model and the needs of the people doing the work.
I am particularly interested in digital infrastructure that supports cultural memory, Black community initiatives, nonprofit and NGO work, and responsible AI-assisted knowledge organisation. The aim is technology that strengthens human judgement and helps organisations steward what they know.
